In July 2008, my wife Kirti and I, and our friend Jenny Johnson, paddled our sea kayaks 350 miles along the wild and pristine North and West Coasts of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our trip started at Port Hardy and ended in Barkley Sound. Some interesting statistics for the journey – we saw 29 black bears and 352 bald eagles!
