These pictures document an 11 day sea kayak tour of the area between Port McNeil and Campbell River on the East side of Vancouver Island.
Our 140 nautical mile route took in Whirlpool, Green Point, Dent, Yaculta, Hole in the Wall, Okisollo, and Surge Narrows rapids as it explored the area east of Johnstone Strait down through the Discovery Islands. Paddlers are Jonathan and Kirti Walpole, Karl and Kimberly Andersson, Sandy Giltinan and Melody Shapiro. The tour took place in early September 2007.
